CDL Truck Driver Training & HVAC Technician Training Programs
We offer vocational training programs designed to help give you the resources and experiences to become successful after graduation. The learning environment at NETTTS is made to fit your life, with a variety of class schedules and an emphasis on hands-on training.
CDL Commercial Truck Driving
NETTTS got its start as a trucking training school 60 years ago near Springfield, MA. We offer two different programs: Class A CDL (tractor trailer) training, available year-round at all four of our school locations; and Class B CDL (heavy straight truck) training. Both of these programs have morning, afternoon, evening, and weekend class options.
HVACR Service Tech Training
Starting in 2013, we added our HVACR Technology program to our Massachusetts and Rhode Island campuses in order to provide students with the hands-on skills and industry knowledge they need to enter the world of heating, cooling, ventilation, and refrigeration installation and repair. You have the option of daytime, evening or weekend classes, depending on what works best for you.

New England Tractor Trailer Training School (NETTTS) started as one campus in Somers, CT, founded by a former truck driver and trucking industry executive who saw the need for comprehensive CDL training. Shortly after, NETTTS opened a second location in Massachusetts to better serve the Boston area. Since then, we’ve expanded, opening additional campuses and expanding to other skilled trade career training, but through it all we’ve remained a family business, focused on our goal of helping our students achieve their career goals.
How We Help Our Students
At NETTTS, we are proud to offer comprehensive education and support to every student who walks through our doors. Each campus has teams dedicated to financial aid services, student services, and career placement services, working with every student on things like:
- Identifying potential financial resources and opportunities to help you pay, included federal grants and loans
- In-school and extended payment plans to better spread out the costs of investing in your future
- Referrals for housing, transportation, and human services to better support your day-to-day responsibilities
- Placement assistance and resources like resume writing, interview preparation, job search skills, and campus job fairs
- Flexible course scheduling options so that you can attend the classes that fit best in your current schedule
